The Global Citizenship Education Network (GCEN) is a cooperative effort between The Boston Global Forum and UNESCO Chair in Global Learning and Global Citizenship Education, UCLA.
The organization was officially launched on November 21th 2016.
GCEN is led by Governor Michael Dukakis, founder of the Boston Global Forum—Prof. Carlos Alberto Torres, the UNESCO Chair in Global Learning and Global Citizenship Education at UCLA and Distinguished Professor of Education and Director of the Paulo Freire Institute—-Mr. Tuan Anh Nguyen, co-Founder and CEO of The Boston Global Forum, and Chairman of the International Advisory Committee of the UNESCO Chair on Global Citizenship Education at UCLA.
With numerous highly respected professor, scholars and experts in the network, GCEN will be a promising organization in promoting global knowledge and world peace.
