Jason Dorio is Program Director for UNESCO Chair in Global Learning and Global Citizenship Education at UCLA and Assistant to the President of World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES). Before staring his work as a Program Director, he was Visiting Scholar for American University in Cairo, Egypt from August 2015 until June 2015 . He is also member of Comparative International and Education Society (CIES) and Program Coordinator and Honorary Founder atPaulo Freire Institute.
Doris received his Ph. D in Social Science and Comparative Education Division from University of California, Los Angeles in 2016 and Master of Arts in Education from California State University, Long Beach in 2009. He hold University Fellowship, University of California, Los Angeles from 2010 to 2014 and Elwood H. Zillgitt & Mildred B. Finney Fellowship from 2012 to 2013. In 2012, Dario received UCLA GSEIS, Dean’s Scholar Award, Leigh Burstein Award. He also took part in multiple research and publication regarding social science, especially social movements.
