Criteria Of Global Citizenship Educators

Global Citizenship Educators are highly-accomplished individuals with a demonstrated commitment to the education of global citizens. They include professors, policymakers, artists, innovators, businessmen and businesswomen who focus on transferring their knowledge, wisdom, civic mindedness, and world understanding to the next generation of global citizens.

The designation of Distinguished Global Citizenship Educator is for those who have obtained the highest honors given in the field. It is given to practitioners, theorists, empiricists, and pedagogists who have had an immense positive influence on Global Citizens, or shaped the field of global citizenship education. They are typically recognizable from their abilities to provide global citizenship educators with repeated guidance or assistance.  They include professors who lead in their fields, thought leaders in policy and business, and successful market-disruptive innovators.
