Solve Problems

The MIT Solve Program

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Solve Program is an innovative educational experience where students and professionals are invited to submit technology, business, and policy ideas to solve some of the world’s most difficult problems. It is an impressive example of Global Citizen Education (GCE).

In a competition format, user ideas win awards for the most innovative solutions.  Most recently, MIT Solve has implemented international competitions for cyber-security, refugee education, carbon pricing, and inclusive innovation.

MIT Solve includes participants from all walks of life relevant to the goal of addressing the world’s most challenging problems. Solve’s community of solvers includes “technologists and researchers, entrepreneurs and business leaders, policy makers and NGO managers, change agents and activists, and empowers them to work together.”
